  • Clears heat and reduces swelling (topical use for swollen painful skin lesions, carbuncles; boils)

    Special Notes:
  • incompatible with gan cao
  • unprocessed is more toxic; vinegar fried is less toxic
  • illegal: we can't get it in the USA - can substitute Da Huang
