Cooking Instructions: 1 cup red lentils, 1/2 cup sheep milk yogurt, 1/4 cup honey cooked in the recipe, 2-3 tsp sage, 1 Tbsp slippery elm, a few chopped walnuts, 1 tsp salt, little bit black pepper, 3 eggs Treats Eastern: strongly tonifies kidney qi, also assists kidney jing and kidney yin. Tonifies heart qi and resolves dampness around the heart. Lesser functions to resolves lung yin and dryness. Also helps to regulate digestion by strengthening spleen and stomach qi. Treats Western: An overall well balanced and deeply nourishing recipe. |
